John W. Pugh, PharmD, RPh
John W. Pugh, PharmD, RPh has practiced pharmacy at Prosperity Drug since 2006. He enjoys working with patients to solve their medication related problems. John is a member of the South Carolina Pharmacy Association and served as the President during 2012-2013 year. He and his family attend St. Luke Lutheran Church in Prosperity. A lifelong resident of Newberry County, John graduated from Mid-Carolina High School in 1998, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in 2002, and completed his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2005. John and his wife Kendra have two children, Caroline and John Samuel.
Carmen R. Monts, PharmD, RPh
Carmen R. Monts, PharmD, RPh has practiced at Prosperity Drug since 2007. In addition to her duties dispensing prescriptions, Carmen administers vaccinations and oversees the medication synchronization program. She is a member of Chapin United Methodist Church. Carmen and her husband, Clay, have a daughter Ellie and a son Dylan. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2006.
L. Megan Montgomery, PharmD, RPh
Megan Montgomery, PharmD, RPh joined the Prosperity Drug team in 2012. Megan graduated from Chapin High School in 2002 and the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2009. After finishing pharmacy school, she moved to Andrews, SC to work for a family owned, independent drugstore for 3 years. Megan enjoys being an active member of the SC Pharmacy Association and currently serves as the President-elect of that organization. Outside of her professional activities, Megan is pursuing her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training and she wants to visit all of the US National Parks.
J. Richard Lominick, RPh
Richard Lominick, RPh, has practiced pharmacy in Newberry County for over 50 years. He and his father ran Lominick’s Drug Store on Main Street in Newberry until Mr. Richard sold the business in 1996. He is a member of Newberry ARP Church and he enjoys fishing, hunting, gardening, and visiting his grandchildren. He and his wife Glenda have a son, Chip, and a daughter, Lynn. He is a graduate of Newberry High School and the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, Class of 1961.
Leanne M. Kyzer, PharmD, RPh
Leanne Kyzer, PharmD, RPh began practicing at Prosperity Drug in 2015. She grew up in Lexington, SC and is married to her high school sweetheart Jace. Leanne graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2005 and has experience in independent, chain, and ambulatory care pharmacies. In 2010, she and her family moved to Gilbert to experience the friendly, small town feeling, and she enjoys working in Prosperity for the same reason! Leanne has two children, Charlotte and Tucker, and she loves to read, paint, bake (with her daughter’s help) and garden.
John V. Pugh
John V. Pugh has managed the Business Office here at Prosperity Drug since 2006. He is a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where he is active in the Monday Evening Lutheran Men in Mission group. He and his wife, Becky, have a son and daughter-in-law, John and Kendra Pugh, and two grandchildren, Caroline and John Samuel. He is a 1962 graduate of Newberry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He retired from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture in 2002 with 40 years of service to the State.
